  • October 2005 - Selected as an entrant and qualified for the Technology Top 100 (TT100) Awards Programme. TT100 is South Africa's foremost business excellance awards programme. TT100 recognises the way in which organisations use technology to achieve, more effectively, their own objectives, be they maximising profits, gaining market share, creating niche markets or adding value for their shareholders. TT100 is therefore less about the technology itself than fundamentally about the way technology is used innovatively.
  • September 2005 - Once again selected to represent the South African Outsourcing industry at the Call Centre Expo in Birmingham (UK). This achievement comes on the back of a very successful growth phase - having experienced 100% growth in the past 9 months. the contact centre now has 45 FTE's and operates 18 hours/day.
  • July 2005 - 3iSolutions entered and was selected as a finalist in 2 (of 2 entered) categories for the Regional Contact Centre Awards. The categories being Best SME Contact Centre and most Innovative Solution and pays tribute to the significant advances made over the past two years of the Contact Centre as well as the development of Symphony, the contact centre management system.
  • May 2005 - Successfully completes the integration of a new trunk-side voice recording solution with its own innovative contact centre management system (Symphony). This combination enables un-precendented visibility of its operations 24x7. The solution, developed and implemented by MTechSA, proves to be a significant differentiator for 3iSolutions enabling all call recordings to be delivered to its customers, daily using a combination of e-mail and web interfaces.
  • January 2005 - Re-elected to Calling the Cape as Director of Outsourcing: Greg Love was elected Director of Outsourcing for the industry body at the AGM on 1 February 2005, expanding his portfolio of responsabilities to Outsourcing (from SME/BPO).
  • August 2004 - Selected to represent the South African outsourcing industry: 3iSolutions was selected as 1 of 15 companies in South Africa to represent the outsourcing industry at the contact-centre expos in Chicago (USA) and Birmingham (UK).
  • January 2004 - Elected to the board of industry body: A director, Greg Love, was duly elected by companies in the contact centre and BPO industry onto the board of Calling the Cape to represent the SME & BPO segments.
  • April 2003 - Contact-Centre initiative: The business successfully formed a strategic partnership with a London based contact-centre to provide contact-centre services to British customers with the same level of service currently offered from the UK, but more cost effectively. 3iS subsequently became one of the first independent contact centres in Cape Town to offer both inbound and outbound international campaign facilities.
     
  • June 2002 - Expansion into Africa: IDS won its first contract for capturing stock information for various large retail chains in other African countries.
     
  • 2001 - European Tacograph contract: In reponse to a niche market opportunity, the business won a significant European contract under the alliance with iiiServices. In addition to the invaluable experience gained in this specialist market, the contract enabled the further refinement of its production techniques from "batch" to "live" processing.
     
  • 1999-2000 - Substantial period of growth: This period saw the business grow substantially under Grant's management, winning contracts for another national retail chain; a university enrolment and registration contract, and national campaigns for various market research companies. Each contract expanded the operational capabilities significantly.
     
  • 1998 - Retail & Financial Contracts: IDS Cape won its first major national retail chain contract to capture creditors statements. This success was followed closely by another large national retail chain contract to capture stock sheets for the Western and Eastern Cape.
     
  • 1995 - Government contract: First significant government contract awarded to IDS to capture the Voters Roll and National Census for the Western Cape (largest province within South Africa).
     
  • 1994 - Insurance contract: IDS won a major contract from a large multi-national insurance company.
     
  • 1982 - First major out-sourcing contract awarded: ICL Data Services won a national contract with Woolworths, South Africa.
